When I first started listening to country music, Luke Bryan stood out to me right away. He was not the typical country singer who always sang about trucks and ladies because that is what was expected out of him, but more because he actually wanted to. He started playing guitar at the age of fourteen and participated in school musicals, so he was always around music while growing up. I believe his background makes his music so much more inspirational because he truly cares about what he does and always has. Along with that, I think that one of the many great things about him is that he does not necessarily have an intended audience. Country lovers that are in junior high all the way up to adults, all can enjoy his music because it varies. Every album he creates has a theme to it, which makes listening to his music much more enjoyable. Luke’s album “Spring Break...Here To Party” spoke to young adults, whereas “Kill the Lights” could have been loved by kids or adults. It is truly amazing to see how one person can change his style of writing so often depending on the album being made, whether it is upbeat or slow and meaningful. In the end though, he always sticks with one theme and that is to always keep a positive attitude.
