Jack Galluzzo: The Art of Peer Pressure - Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick shows how much a person can change when they are with their peers other than by themselves. He talks about when he's alone he would never do drugs, crime, or any unethical acts. But when he is with his friends he'll do it. Just because he's with his friends. Because it seems like a good idea to do those things when you are with your friends. You don't have time to think about it, you just want to do it to have a good time with your friends. So why not, should be fun. We all are blinded especially teenagers when we are around our peers. This song has impacted me because I've always noticed that I tend to do things with my friends that I normally wouldn't do when I'm by myself. In this realization I think about my actions now when I am with my friends so I know what will be the best for me. The album that this song is on has changed my life because I can relate to a lot that the message it tells. I've listened to it more than 20 times and I'm still listening to it. So that's the impact media has on me.
