Talladega Nights
This quality piece of media conveys the message of never giving up. Ricky Bobby could have stopped after he thought he was on fire, but he kept going and eventually won a race against the best driver in the world. Will Ferrell is a very emotional guy so he is perfect to give this message to the audience. The camera always zooms in on whoever is struggling and slowly goes closer to show sadness, like when Ricky loses his wife to his best friend. This piece is intended for anyone who wants to win at all costs, but it is mostly intended for kids to watch so they know how to be competitive. Kids also need to know that no matter how good you are, there is always some french guy that’s way better. This movie gives kids the tools they will need to eventually beat that french guy. The story is completely fair because as a kid you are taught to never stop working because there is always someone better, and this movie as I said before, demonstrates this perfectly. I use this story to motivate me everyday to keep me from taking it easy, because I know that french guy is out there somewhere ready to take my spot.
