This is a song lyric from the song Seize the day, by one of my favorite bands Avenged Sevenfold. This lyric in the song really speaks to me because this is something i believe deeply in. There have been many times in my life where i had the opportunity to do something but then I missed that opportunity because i was to scared i would fail, or get in trouble. But now that I am older I have realized that you only live once, and that if you wanna do something you have to go out and do it even if people tell you not too. It's your life, go out and do what you want to do. Another thing this lyric makes me think about is my dad. About 3 or 4 years ago he was diagnosed with CLL which is a type of Leukemia. He only has a limited amount of time left to live but we don't focus on that, he always tell me to seize the moment and follow your dreams and to always try your best at what you want to accomplish. He will always be my hero and now everytime i hear that song by Avenged Sevenfold i will always remember my dad and what he has taught me over the years.
