I chose this verse in the song: Donald Trump by Mac Miller because he has a good point if you interpret it the same way i do. I feel like when he says: I stop and just says F it, he is talking about everyones opinion of him. He means that he doesn't care what others think of him anymore. The lines following that say he hears people talking trash about him and i feel like that is a good reason to just worry about yourself and not care what others think, because a lot of them are just talking trash anyways. The message is to not let what others think about you bother or distract you from anything. Mac Miller is telling us this because most people care too much about what people think of them. He emphasizes the first swear, PUBLIC, and RUBBISH and i feel like that was a good technique to get his message across more clearly. I feel like his intended audience is teenagers because they are the most people that listen to his music and also they tend to care too much on what others think of them. I feel like it is a very accurate quote especially when it is referred to teenagers. I have already applied myself with this quote and don't care what others think of me until they become a good friend and prove they are worthy.
Mac Miller is pretty cool. You introduced him to me a couple years back. Thank you.
