Connor Adamick- The Sandlot

One of my favorite movies that I used to watch all the time is The Sandlot. In this movie there are a lot of messages to be learned but one that stuck out to me is that Anything can be learned instantly. For example when Smallz the main character starts to play baseball with his friends but he doesn't know how to catch or throw. Then his friend Benny communicates to him that anything is possible by teaching him how to throw and catch. When I was younger I had no clue how to catch or throw but then my dad taught me and I ended up playing baseball for 8 years after I learned. As Smallz did he kept improving his game just like I did. But throughout the movie he goes through many challenges while still playing baseball. The other messages aren't quite as inspiring to me but there are many shown throughout the movie. The intended audience that this movie is directed towards are younger kids who don't think they can do something but in reality anything is possible.
